Placemaking Meetups
Our Placemaking Meetups are held monthly and give you the opportunity to learn more about different topics related to public spaces. Each meeting, we will organize a different activity (e.g. a film screening and discussion, a walk-and-talk) and get the chance to discuss different placemaking topics and learn more from each other. Everyone is welcome!
Where: The location changes every meeting. Stay updated by following us on social media, or sending us an email to let us know you'd like to be on our mailing list!
When: Our meetings are typically held on the first Wednesday of the month in the evening. Please be sure to follow us on Facebook or Instagram, or get on our mailing list for updates.
Who: Our meetings are held by our Board Members, Staff, and community volunteers!
Have an idea or project?
Placemaking is all about collaboration! If you have a placemaking project or idea you would like to see come to life in Squamish, contact us, and we'll be happy to chat with you to see if we can make it happen. Our organization often collaborates with other local non-profit groups, schools, the District of Squamish, and more to advance placemaking projects in the community. We are happy to hear from individuals too! If you have an idea, check out our Project Process document below and get in touch with us.
